At the end of the 19th century, on a beach of the North Sea, Émile and Maria live an intense and brief love; she recalls it forty years later. The story unfolds among bohemian writers and painters, with a tone evoking Stendhal, Flaubert, Marguerite Duras and Ingmar Bergman.
Second edition, published in the collection El Pasaje de los Panoramas, with translation by Regina López Muñoz and epilogue by Natalia Zarco. Translated from French.
For readers interested in 20th-century European literature and love stories with a bohemian atmosphere.
