The book covers paint finishes and effects for the home: walls, furniture, fabrics, tiles or cans. Each technique is explained like a recipe, with ingredients, equipment and method. It includes stippling, dragging, ragging, sponging, stenciling, glass painting, trompe-l'oeil and imitations of marble, tortoiseshell, gold and leather, with color photographs.
The work, subtitled «The Decorative Arts in Paintwork», was published in 1986; this is the first edition.
For readers interested in interior decoration and decorative painting, whether starting out or already experienced.
