«Jaikus: Segunda enéada» is the poetry collection by Raúl Fernández Vítores, published by Caligrama in paperback (138 pages, in Spanish).
The collection is woven around shadow as orientation, meaning projected onto the earth, and the poet's walking, writing briefly and uselessly so as not to be blinded. There is poetry taken to its zero point and a failure that leaves something unrevealed; desire, the absence of a you, and echoes of Taoism and Bereshit sustain this work.
Published on August 24, 2021, in the Poesía Caligrama collection. The author, born in Madrid (1962), is a Philosophy professor and has published essays and other poetry collections.
For readers of contemporary poetry seeking reflective lyricism with echoes of Taoism and philosophy.
Spanish historian of philosophy and poet (1962-)
