«La família del meu pare» is the literary novel by Lolita Bosch, published by Editorial Empúries in paperback (336 pages, in Catalan).
The work is a family portrait in which Lolita Bosch traces the history of Barcelona, a changing, cosmopolitan city open to the sea. In homage to her absent father, the author fictionalizes his life and that of her ancestors, following the five Ròmul Bosch: from the first, mayor in 1905, to the last, who learns to say the word father.
Subtitled «Una novel·la», it was published in 2008 in the Empúries Narrativa collection.
Aimed at readers of contemporary literary fiction, especially those seeking novels with historical and family background.
