«La información» is Martin Amis's satirical novel published by RBA Coleccionables in hardcover (495 pages, in Spanish).
The novel pits two writers against each other: Richard Tull, a failed author consumed by envy, and Gwyn Barry, turned into a celebrity by his bestseller. With satire, Amis addresses ambition, mortality and the craving for recognition, and shows how the overabundance of information and media noise condition literary creation.
Work originally published in 1995; this Spanish-language edition came out in 2009 in the Biblioteca Anagrama collection.
For readers of literary satire, contemporary British fiction and fiction about the publishing and media world.
