In a perfect dialogue between the sixteenth and twenty-first centuries, Christina Fallarás recreates the life of a woman that is the story of many in this novel. The novel tells the story of Joanna the Mad, Queen of Castille, Queen of Aragon, Valencia, Mallorca, Navarra, Naples, Sicily, and Sardinia, Countess of Barcelona, and titular Duchess consort of Burgundy, who remained imprisoned in one single room in Tordesillas for 46 years. Through Joanna's silence, the author invites us to reflect on history told from the perspective of women.
