«La noia dels ulls verds» is the contemporary fiction novel by Edna O'Brien, published by Edicions Sidillà in paperback (292 pages, in Catalan).
Caithleen and Baba, two Irish friends, live in a boarding house in Dublin and aspire to a free and sophisticated life. When Caithleen falls in love with Eugene Gaillard, a divorced movie director, their romance clashes with the reactionary community of her village and with her family. Edna O'Brien portrays with humor and sharpness two untamed friends.
Second novel of the trilogy that Edna O'Brien began with «Les noies de pagès»; translation by Aurora Ballester into Catalan.
For readers of contemporary fiction and Irish narrative, as well as for those who follow Edna O'Brien's trilogy.
