«La reina de las nieves» is the children's tale by Hans Christian Andersen, published by Anaya in hardcover (46 pages, in Spanish).
In this classic tale, a wicked mirror shattered into pieces sends a splinter into Kai's eye and heart; cold and distant, the boy is carried off by the Snow Queen. Gerda, his friend, journeys through a world of ice and faces various trials to rescue him.
The original tale, «Snedronningen» (1844), appears here in Spanish; this Anaya edition includes illustrations by Stasys Eidrigevicius.
Given its tone and length, it is intended for early readers and lovers of fairy tales and fantasy.
Escritor danés del siglo XIX, autor de cuentos universales como La Sirenita, El soldadito de plomo, El patito feo y La Reina de las Nieves.
