«La unificación civil y mercantil en la contratación privada» is the private law study by María Ángeles Martín Rodríguez, in paperback (256 pages).
The work analyzes the origin and evolution of commercial law and its relationship with civil law, marked by the coexistence and legislative duplication between both normative bodies. The work reviews the civil code and the commercial code, examines the practical consequences of that duplication in obligations and contracts through case law, and proposes legislative unification as a possible solution.
First edition (2006) by Editorial Universitaria Ramón Areces. The work belongs to the University of Alcalá collection. Martín Rodríguez is listed as assistant professor of Civil Law (UAH).
It is aimed at a specialized audience: law students and professionals, especially those interested in civil and commercial unification.
