«L'énigme de l'Atlantide» is the historical essay by Edouard Brasey, published by Pygmalion/G. Watelet in paperback (267 pages, in French).
The book explores the myth of Atlantis as a possible memory of an advanced civilization destroyed by a planetary cataclysm. Brasey examines classical texts, alleged archaeological evidence and accounts from various cultures, and proposes a journey through the traces of that lost world and the influence of that legend on collective memory.
Originally published in 1998, it is part of the series «Mystères des mondes perdus» and closes with bibliographic references.
For those interested in historical enigmas, lost civilizations and the mythical tradition surrounding Atlantis.
