«Les corbeaux d'Alep» is Marie Seurat's account of her husband's kidnapping, published by Gallimard in paperback (252 pages, in French).
Marie Seurat recounts the last time she sees her husband alive: a man picks him up in a light-colored car and he gets in with his books under his arm, as if going to work. His captors, who have been holding him in secret for three months, have brought him home for an hour before hiding him again.
Originally published in 1988, this edition belongs to the Folio collection (no. 2079).
For French-language readers interested in first-person accounts of the Middle East.
