Los días felices

Synopsis of Los días felices

This bilingual edition of 'Los días felices' (Happy Days) presents one of the most iconic works by playwright Samuel Beckett. In this fundamental piece of theater of the absurd, the protagonist, Winnie, finds herself trapped in a scorched mound, facing an existence marked by repetition and hopelessness, while trying to find comfort in her daily routines. Published by Altaya in their 'Clásicos de la literatura universal' collection, this volume includes the Spanish translation by Antonia Rodríguez Gago. It is an essential work for understanding Beckett's scenic evolution and his profound exploration of the human condition through everyday gestures and minimalist language.
