«Los Reyes Magos» is a children's picture book by Géraldine Eschner, published by Editorial Kókinos in paperback (28 pages, in Spanish).
This work approaches the Epiphany, the celebration of January 6 that closes Christmas, and accompanies the Magi from the East on their journey guided by a star to the humble stable where a child has been born. It unpacks the passage from the Gospel of Matthew that mentions them and the meaning of their three gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh.
A religious-themed work for children; the cover reproduces a painting of the Adoration of the Magi, in Gothic or Renaissance style. Published in July 2014.
For children and families who want to learn about the tradition of the Epiphany and its representation in Christian art; suitable for early readers.
