«Margarita» is a humor comic by María Colino Rodríguez, published by Horas y Horas in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
This comic presents Margarita, a dreamy, unselfconscious girl of 14-15, who questions the place society reserves for women and wonders what she wants to be when she grows up. The handwritten notes in the drawings, describing her blonde hair, denim jacket and clothes, ironically accentuate this claim.
It belongs to the collection Todas eran valientes; its first edition was published in November 1991.
Aimed at teenagers aged 14-15 and readers interested in socially conscious comics and gender perspective.
