«Memorias de una vida inesperada» is the memoir of Queen Noor of Jordan, published by Plaza & Janés in hardcover (480 pages, in Spanish).
Queen Noor's memoirs trace her life from her childhood in the United States to her role as queen consort of Jordan, married to King Hussein. The narrative combines a portrait of the monarch and his struggle for peace in the Middle East with the personal experience of a mother balancing private life with public duties.
Spanish edition published in September 2003, translated from the original «Leap of Faith»; includes color photograph plates.
Aimed at readers interested in royal biographies, women's memoirs, and accounts of recent Middle Eastern history.
