«Most Likely to Succeed» is the educational essay by Tony Wagner and Ted Dintersmith, published by Scribner in hardcover (296 pages, in English).
The work criticizes the American school system, designed for an economy that no longer exists and focused on grades and credentials rather than forming reflective citizens, and proposes an education based on creativity, initiative, and curiosity, with testimonies from students, teachers, families, and business leaders.
Originally published in 2015, the full title of the work is Most Likely to Succeed: Preparing Our Kids for the Innovation Era; it corresponds to the first hardcover edition from Scribner.
It will interest parents, educators, and education policymakers seeking arguments to rethink school in light of the current economy.
Tony Wagner is an American educator and author. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Learning Policy Institute. He held positions at Harvard University, where he co-directed the Change Leadership Group at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
