«Gabinete de curiosidades» is the suspense novel by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, published by Ulisseia in paperback (516 pages, in Portuguese).
In an ancient tunnel beneath New York City, a 19th-century ossuary appears with 36 bodies showing signs of extreme violence. When the press spreads the discovery, the city suffers a wave of murders with the same pattern, and special agent Aloysius Pendergast pursues a criminal who seems to have returned from the past.
The work is the third installment of the Pendergast series; it was originally published as The Cabinet of Curiosities in 2002. The Portuguese translation is by Mário Dias Correia.
For readers of crime fiction and suspense who enjoy historical plots and serial crimes.
