«Palabras» is Roger Priddy's children's book of contrasts, published by Titiris in hardcover (16 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together high-contrast images, such as a beach ball, a yellow sun, or a red strawberry, on alternating black-and-white backgrounds. It is intended for babies to fix their gaze and begin to recognize their first words and everyday objects.
A book designed for babies and young children who are beginning to discover language, with simple, high-contrast visual stimuli.
Roger Priddy is the creator of Priddy Books, which publishes books for babies and young children. Priddy Books is a division of Macmillan Publishers and books published by the imprint have won several Practical Pre-School Awards.
