Perico is a boy whose always-busy parents give him a colorful parakeet that can only say its own name: Periquete. The friendship between the boy and the bird grows until one afternoon, alone at home, Periquete invites him to discover the jungle where he was born, a place where everyone has time.
The work belongs to the Montaña Encantada collection and is illustrated by Manuel Sierra. It was first published in 2006.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 9, especially early readers who enjoy animal stories and messages about family time.
