«Préstame tus ojos» is the diary of a pilgrim by Gérard Bessière, published by Ediciones Sígueme in paperback (284 pages, in Spanish).
In this diary, Bessière records his experiences as a pilgrim between 1978 and 1983, a path of contrasts between shadow and light. The experiences of the journey become a meditation on faith, prayer and Christian life, and the outward pilgrimage also becomes an inner itinerary.
It is work number 149 of the Atenas-Pedal collection from Ediciones Sígueme; this is its fourth edition.
Recommended for readers interested in Christian spirituality, pilgrimage narratives and literature of personal reflection.
Gérard Bessière was a French diarist, poet, priest of the Diocese of Cahors, onetime national chaplain for the teaching staff of university parish, journalist of the weekly magazine La Vie, and author of numerous books on spirituality. He retired to a village in Lot.
