«Psmith periodista» is the novel by P.G. Wodehouse published by Versal in 1990 in hardcover, in Spanish.
In «Psmith periodista», Psmith travels to New York with his Cambridge companion on a cricket tour and, thanks to his character and gift of the gab, ends up in charge of a minor publication. Psmith becomes embroiled in a scandal with exploitative landlords, boxers and gangsters, in a plot with a social conscience unusual for Wodehouse.
The original English title is «Psmith, Journalist»; the first book edition of that text was published in the United Kingdom in 1915.
Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an English writer and one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century. His creations include the feather-brained Bertie Wooster and his sagacious valet, Jeeves; the immaculate and loquacious Psmith; Lord Emsworth and the Blandings Castle set; the Oldest Member, with stories about golf; and Mr. Mulliner, with tall tales on subjects ranging from bibulous bishops to megalomaniac movie moguls.
