«Rodchenko: Construcción 1920» is Hubertus Gassner's essay on Rodchenko, published by Siglo XXI de España in paperback (93 pages, in Spanish).
From 1918 onward, Alexandre Rodchenko developed work in painting and sculpture that broke with academic conventions. The book analyzes his idea of «construcciones de vida», works understood as instruments for organizing existence, and reviews this artist's impact on modern art.
The work belongs to the Galería abierta collection. Published in 1995, this edition is the first and is translated from German.
For those interested in modern art, painting and Rodchenko's work.
