«Rule No. 1: A Light Comedy for Dark Days» is the satirical novel by Rupert Morgan, published by Bantam in paperback (279 pages, in English).

In the dictatorial country of Errat, beekeeper Saman Massoudi just wants to be left alone to produce his honey. A superpower mistakes him for a terrorist planning to unleash a plague of killer bees, and his peaceful life ends up in the middle of an absurd war. A satire with black humor about post-9/11 paranoia and propaganda.

Rule No. 1 is Rupert Morgan's third novel and part of his trilogy of satires set in Atlantis, an allegorical version of the West.
