«Runas» is the young adult fantasy novel by Joanne Harris, published by Alfaguara in paperback (640 pages, in Spanish).
The protagonist, Maddy Smith, was born with a rune-shaped mark on her hand, something her village associates with the magic of the old gods and with ruin. When her master, the One-Eyed, returns asking for her help, Maddy must descend to the Underworld to recover a relic from the Old Age and prevent a new threat to the world.
First installment of Joanne Harris's Runemarks saga, translated into Spanish by José Miguel Pallarés Sanmiguel.
A read aimed at young people and adults interested in fantasy, Norse mythology, and adventures with a teenage protagonist.
