«Sentido y Sensibilidad» is the bilingual edition of Jane Austen's novel published by Planeta DeAgostini in hardcover (64 pages, in English and Spanish).
The sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood embody two attitudes to life: serene reason against passionate impulse. After their father's death, they leave home and face the amorous and social customs of nineteenth-century England, in an ironic tale about the balance between feeling and sense.
Jane Austen's first published novel originally appeared in 1811.
Edition designed for those who wish to read the original English text alongside its Spanish version.
Jane Austen was an English writer known primarily for her six novels, which implicitly interpret, critique, and comment on the English landed gentry at the end of the 18th century.
