«Storia di Tropea a fumetti» is the local history comic by Bruno Cimino, published by Meligrana Giuseppe Editore in hardcover (80 pages, in Italian).
A historical popularisation work that reviews in panels the history of Tropea, a Calabrian town with its center on a cliff. The book is organized into six sections preceded by a prologue that places the reader in the narrated era, and combines black-and-white, sepia and color illustrations to evoke the town's past and its traditions.
It is part of the «Tropea e dintorni» series by Meligrana Giuseppe Editore. The original publication dates from 2011.
A proposal designed for students of Tropea and for enthusiasts of local history who want to approach it through comics.
