Adamsberg's squad, with Danglard and Retancourt, faces a case where history and the present intertwine.
Tenth installment in the Commissaire Adamsberg series. Originally published in 2015, it won the Deutscher Krimi Preis in 2016 and was nominated for the CWA International Dagger in 2017.
For readers of crime and mystery fiction who enjoy historical plots and eccentric characters, narrated in French.
