«The Sound of Laughter» is the autobiography of Peter Kay, published by Arrow in paperback (368 pages, in English).
Peter Kay looks back on his life with humor: childhood in Bolton, jobs after school and the road to fame, from his first driving lesson. The book focuses on the absurdities of family life, such as elderly relatives, answering machines or parents dancing at weddings, with a nostalgic eye and without resorting to politics or sex.
The work was originally published in 2006; this Arrow paperback edition is from July 5, 2007.
