«Versos prohibidos» is a collection of satirical poems by Alfonso Ussía, published by Espasa in paperback (296 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together a selection of poems that Alfonso Ussía published in the magazine Época, with the author's characteristic satirical humor. The verses make irony of politicians, artists, jet-set figures and other personalities of Spanish public life, and revive the tradition of jocular and mordant poetry.
The edition corresponds to number 11 of the Espasa Bolsillo collection, published in 1998.
For readers fond of political and social satire in verse, with references to figures of Spanish public life from the 1990s.
Alfonso de Ussía y Muñoz-Seca was a Spanish writer and journalist.
