«Victorias por mar de los españoles» is the historical essay by Agustín Ramón Rodríguez González, published by Sekotia in paperback (340 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together some of the most meritorious and least known naval victories of the Spanish Armada, from the 16th to the 19th century, to counter the dominant view that reduces that history to defeats. The author argues that the Spanish created the first oceanic empire and maintained it for centuries, and recalls episodes such as the war with England, the expeditions to Manila or the battles against the English and Algerians.
It belongs to the «Biblioteca de Historia» collection. The cover indicates that it is the 4th edition and that the book has sold over 8,000 copies.
