Lloyd William Peterson was an American college football, basketball, and wrestling coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1931 to 1957, compiling a record of 84–76–9. Peterson was also the head basketball coach at Minnesota–Duluth from 1932 to 1943 and the school's athletic director from 1955 until his retirement in 1969.
