Rafa turns 65 and, at his age, he knows all too well that things always turn out worse than expected. He expects his youngest son to arrive late to his birthday party and spend half the evening on his phone. He expects his middle daughter, if she arrives at all, to be even later and without a gift. He expects his eldest daughter to constantly stir up trouble with the middle one, and his wife to pretend the whole time that they are a perfect family. That is what Rafa expects in this Spanish comedy that portrays family tensions and dynamics during a birthday celebration.
