«Atraco Perfecto» is the film noir by Stanley Kubrick (1956), starring Sterling Hayden, Coleen Gray and Marie Windsor, on DVD.
Ex-convict Johnny Clay assembles a team to rob two million dollars at a racetrack, with an apparently perfect plan. However, greed and betrayal by Sherry Peatty, the wife of one of those involved, threaten to ruin everything. The film stands out for its non-linear narrative structure, showing the heist from different points of view.
Approximate running time of 80 minutes. Black-and-white PAL DVD edition, published in 2002 by T.C.F.H.E. Spain. Audio in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian with subtitles in several languages.
Recommended for fans of classic film noir and Stanley Kubrick's filmography, as well as heist thrillers with innovative narrative structure.
