«Berlín, sinfonía de una ciudad» is the experimental documentary directed by Walther Ruttmann, released on DVD by Divisa.
The documentary shows the German capital over the course of a day, from the early hours of the morning to night, and turns the city itself into the protagonist: the editing of images of streets, transport, factories and leisure venues composes a chronicle of the metropolis's frenetic pulse in the Weimar Republic.
This edition dates from 2002 and belongs to the Orígenes del cine collection.
A work of interest to fans of avant-garde cinema and the history of documentary.
