«Callejón Sin Salida» is the 1966 movie by Roman Polanski, starring Donald Pleasence and Françoise Dorléac, on DVD.
A wounded gangster and his dying partner take refuge in an isolated castle on the coast, inhabited by a pusillanimous Englishman and his wife. The forced cohabitation unleashes a tense power game: the fugitive imposes his violence and the couple tries to survive the nightmare. Roman Polanski turns the closed space into a psychological trap.
DVD zone 2 edition distributed by Filmax, with English and Spanish audio and German subtitles. Golden Bear at the 1966 Berlin Film Festival.
