«Casanova de Fellini» is the movie by Federico Fellini released in 1976, starring Donald Sutherland, Tina Aumont and Cicely Browne, on DVD.
The movie freely recreates the memoirs of Giacomo Casanova, from his imprisonment in the Leads to his old age in Germany. In the 18th century, the seducer recalls his love affairs and travels across Europe, in a Fellinian vision that leads him to decadence and moral, existential and sexual emptiness.
Running time 166 minutes, region 2 and audio in Spanish and English.
For fans of Fellini and European auteur biographical drama, with a critical look at the myth of the seducer.
