In 1959, on an English farm, Ginger the hen dreams of freedom. Every day she tries to escape the coop, but always fails. However, her hopes are renewed with the arrival of Rocky, an American rooster who lands in the coop. Ginger sees in him the opportunity to teach the hens to fly and escape the farm before Mrs. Tweedy turns them into the main course.
