«Colors», also known as «Colori di Guerra», is the 1988 Dennis Hopper movie starring Robert Duvall and Sean Penn, on DVD.
Veteran Bob Hodges and impulsive Danny McGavin patrol the streets of Los Angeles in the late eighties, when the Bloods and Crips gangs are fighting for control of territory and drug trafficking. Their opposing methods —restraint versus force— define a raw look at urban violence and the strain on the police partnership.
The Italian edition from Cecchi Gori Home Video runs 140 minutes and includes interactive menus, direct access to 16 scenes, the original trailer, and biographies of the director and main actors.
For those who enjoy eighties police cinema and dramas about police officers facing urban violence.
