«Dans la peau de Jacques Chirac» is the documentary movie by Karl Zéro and Michel Royer, released in 2006, on DVD.
The documentary traces Jacques Chirac's political career from 1967 to the mid-2000s through archival footage. A voice-over imitates the former president to narrate a sort of unauthorized autobiography, and the editing turns this real material into a satirical comedy that portrays the contradictions of a central figure in French politics.
Two-disc edition with French sound in Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0, 1.85:1 image format, region 2 and 90 minutes running time. Winner of the César Award for Best Documentary in 2007.
For fans of political documentaries and satire on public figures, with an interest in recent French politics.
