Dark Shadows

Synopsis of Dark Shadows

In 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins set sail from Liverpool, England, with their young son Barnabas to start a new life in America. But even the ocean cannot protect them from the terrible curse that haunts their family. Two decades later, Barnabas has the world at his feet, or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. Rich and powerful, he is a confirmed seducer... until he makes the grave mistake of breaking Angelique Bouchard's heart. She, a witch in every sense of the word, condemns him to a fate worse than death: transforming him into a vampire and burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is accidentally released from his tomb, emerging in 1972 into a completely different world.
