«Date Movie» is the parody comedy movie by Aaron Seltzer (2007), starring Alyson Hannigan, Adam Campbell and Sophie Monk, on DVD.
Parody of romantic comedies from part of the Scary Movie writing team. Julia Jones, determined to live a movie-style love, runs into disastrous dates, eccentric families and situations taken to the extreme, in a satire of the usual clichés of the romantic genre, with visual gags and zany humor.
Region 2, 81 minutes, uncut edition. Audio in English and Spanish; subtitles in Spanish and English.
Aimed at adults wanting a crude parody comedy, especially if they enjoyed Scary Movie.
