«Dresden – Einst & Jetzt» is the historical documentary produced by Hirsch Film about the transformation of Dresden, released on DVD in 2002.
The documentary recovers historical footage of Dresden shot from a streetcar, with restored material and previously unseen scenes from the Ernst Hirsch archive, and contrasts it with current images to show the city's transformation over eighty years. It includes four routes, footage from 1903, the Frauenkirche and a concert by the Kreuzchor.
