«El Despertar Del Amor» is the movie by John Irvin starring Jacqueline Bisset, Hannah Taylor-Gordon and Natalia Tena, on DVD.
At the beginning of the 20th century, a girls' boarding school in a wooded area of Germany raises its students away from any outside contact, under strict rules. When two girls disappear and an inspector arrives to investigate, the apparent calm of the institution gives way to an atmosphere of suspicion and hidden desires.
The original title of the film is «The Fine Art of Love»; this DVD includes one disc, subtitles in Spanish and Catalan, and region 2.
A choice for fans of Natalia Tena and Jacqueline Bisset and for those seeking period dramas with an oppressive atmosphere.
