Mina, a six-year-old girl, leaves school one day wearing her traditional dress and with her arm in a cast, only to find that her mother has failed to pick her up. The little girl decides to make the journey home by herself, even though she does not know her address and only remembers the route visually. She soon gets lost in the streets of Tehran, and those who offer to help her have little success in this poignant film.
