«El Maquinista» is Brad Anderson's psychological thriller (2004), starring Christian Bale, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, on DVD.
Trevor Reznik, an industrial worker who hasn't slept for days, suffers increasingly severe physical and mental deterioration. After a workplace accident involving him, guilt and paranoia take over: he believes there's a conspiracy to blame him for strange deaths, while he can no longer distinguish reality from what surrounds him.
The DVD is a PAL, region 2 edition, 102 minutes long, released by Filmax Hvtp. It includes audio in English and Spanish and subtitles in both languages.
For fans of suspense cinema and intense performances, with Christian Bale playing a man pushed to the limit by insomnia.
