When their children become independent, Leonardo, a successful writer in the midst of a midlife crisis, and his wife Martha, who studies and keeps herself constantly busy, must rediscover themselves as a couple. The film shows with bittersweet humor the void left by the children's departure and the cracks in a middle-class marriage in Buenos Aires.
