«El Perro Mongol» is the movie by Byambasuren Davaa (2005), starring Nansal Batchuluun, Batchuluun Urjindorj and Buyandulam Daramdadi, on DVD.
The movie follows Nansal, the eldest daughter of a nomadic Mongolian family, who finds a puppy while working in the countryside. Her father fears the animal descends from wolves and asks her to get rid of it; the girl, however, keeps the dog and the decision tests the family's beliefs and their nomadic way of life.
