«El príncipe de Zamunda» is the 1988 film by John Landis, starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and James Earl Jones, on DVD.
Prince Akeem of Zamunda travels to New York to escape palace life and find a wife for love, not for reasons of state. With a servant, he poses as an ordinary man and starts working in a fast-food restaurant, where he meets the owner's daughter, already engaged to a man interested only in money. The film uses this premise to satirize cultural clash and self-interested relationships.
Running time 112 minutes; sound in English Dolby Digital 5.1 and in Spanish, French and Italian Dolby Digital 2.0; subtitles in eight languages, including Spanish and English. Suitable for all ages.
For those who enjoy classic comedies from the 1980s and Eddie Murphy's humor.
