«El Príncipe y el Mendigo» is the movie by Richard Fleischer starring Mark Lester, Oliver Reed and Raquel Welch, on DVD.
The movie adapts Mark Twain's classic set in 16th-century England: Tom, a poor young man, and the Prince of Wales meet by chance and, surprised by their great resemblance, swap clothes. The mix-up leaves the real prince on the streets and the beggar treated as heir at court.
The movie «El Príncipe y el Mendigo», released on DVD by Seven Films in 2014, runs 116 minutes, with audio in Spanish and English (Dolby Stereo) and Spanish subtitles.
For those who enjoy period literary adaptations and stories of swapped identities.
