Synopsis of En avant la musique
En abril de 1943, el avance de las tropas americanas obliga a los fascistas italianos a hacer precipitadamente sus maletas. Creyendo tener que rendir cuentas de su apoyo al partido de Mussolini, Mario Venicio, alcalde de la pequeña ciudad de Arlea, persuade a su amigo de la infancia y némesis política, Attilio Capellaro, para cederle su lugar. Este último acepta y, de inmediato, casa a su hijo con la hija de Mario. Pero Crisppa, el jefe de la célula fascista local, interviene, destituye a Attilio, anula el matrimonio y anuncia represalias. Al día siguiente, se le encuentra muerto, al igual que Mario y Attilio se sospechan mutuamente del asesinato. Fernandel se reencuentra con Gino Cervi, su compañero de Don Camillo, y da por primera vez en la pantalla la réplica a su hijo Franck. ¡Una comedia llena de garbo y buen humor!
